Christian Science nurses help individuals who need skillful physical assistance, while relying on Christian Science treatment for healing. Firmly grounded in Christian Science themselves, these nurses help foster a healing atmosphere and help people function as normally as possible while healing progresses. The care they provide can include such things as helping people bathe, preparing special modified foods, bandaging, and helping people who need assistance to move about.

Christian Science nurses do not diagnose, administer drugs, or provide any sort of physical therapy or other medical treatment. Click HERE list of nurses located in British Columbia. A worldwide listing, with contact information, is published each month in The Christian Science Journal or online HERE. (Scroll down to find the directory.)

The Vancouver Christian Science Nursing Service is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to home-care patients who rely on the support of Christian Science Nurses and Christian Science in-home care providers. Any individual who wishes to rely on Christian Science for healing is eligible for financial assistance. Church membership is not a requirement.

Our organization provides financial assistance to patients of Christian Science Nurses and to individuals who are in training to become Christian Science Nurses or Christian Science in-home care providers. In addition, we facilitate communication between patients and Christian Science Nurses by providing an up-to-date list of Christian Science Nurses and of other Christian Scientists who can assist patients in their homes. MORE
